About Alison Lechleiter

Real estate has always been of keen interest to Alison. “HGTV is on 24/7 in my house,” she laughs. “I love everything about homes and enjoy sharing that passion with my clients. From interior design and furniture selection to architecture and landscaping, the thought that goes into a home has always appealed to me and I relish the opportunity to use my love of real estate to improve my clients’ lives.” Prior to earning her real estate license, Alison taught High School History for twelve years. Her pedagogical background comes in handy when working with clients because she can give them an educational experience while making the grade with their real estate dreams. “You really have to connect with students as a teacher, and the same principle applies to client relationships. Asking the right questions, digging a little deeper, and understanding what people really want and need allow me to produce top-notch results.” After moving to San Diego in 2004, Alison and her husband, who was born and raised in Encinitas, purchased and renovated a home on their own. That experience and challenge fueled her passion for real estate, and gave her invaluable experience that she shares with her clients. Having lived and worked throughout San Diego County, including Downtown, Golden Hill, La Mesa, Del Mar, and Carlsbad, Alison is also well-versed in the different lifestyles each community affords its residents. “Having the personal experience of fully updating a home and the anecdotal understanding of what it’s like to live in a variety of neighborhoods allows me to better help my clients. Once I know my client’s desired lifestyle, I can guide them in a suitable direction and be confident they will love the outcome.”
